Advanced Esalen Massage
06/05-06/09 - Mon.-Fri. 9:30-5:30pm
This class provides comprehensive instruction in advanced massage skills. Advanced Esalen Massage is presented as a form of somatic learning and a meditation for both giver and receiver. Students must have already taken a professional massage training course (Intro to Esalen Massage does not qualify). You will expand into new territory and add knowledge in specific areas such as the neck, legs, arms, stomach and low back. Students will learn advanced level Esalen-style long, integrative strokes (with techniques for deep contact) which will then be focused and refined. We will also be incorporating concepts developed within other bodywork styles.

Register after 5/31 - $540
Prerequisite: Open to all bodyworkers,. No prior Esalen experience required.
